Windsurf Lessons

Sailing in Coche will surely be a highlight to your trip, given the amazingly flat-water and consistent conditions present on many days. Not an ideal place for beginners due to deep water and a side-off wind, but intermediate and advanced sailors are more than welcome to take lessons from our team. Note that as our operation is much smaller and has less staff on hand, we can only conduct lessons when there is free time to take one instructor away from the center while leaving another person in charge to help other guests to exchange equipment.

Free Clinics

Sorry ... these are not scheduled or available in Coche. However, as a guest of the Coche Paradise Hotel you have free boat-shuttles included in case you want to sail in El Yaque for the morning, and take advantage of our late-morning clinics at Vela Margarita. Of course, our staff is eager and ready to help answer any questions you may have, and look forward to helping you to improve your sailing.

If you seek additional instruction, we offer private essons by our experienced, certified instructors for an additional fee. All lessons are reserved, scheduled and paid for at the center preferably in U.S. Dollars. All instructors are highly trained, each with years of teaching experience.

Beginner Lessons

Again, not recommened (or available) in Coche due to the conditions. If you are pre-booked on our discounted beginner package you will need to come to El Yaque each day to sail untiil you get the basics down, including turning and getting back upwind (or at least to a point alng the shore where you want to get to!!!) Once you are ready for foot-strap / waterstart lessons you may take lessons in Coche.

Private Lessons

Individualized, private instruction that is catered to your specific needs, whether that may be jibing, stance, footstraps, jumping, etc. Times arranged on-site and are subject to instructor availability, though you will likley have no trouble signing up for as much time as you want to spend. Private lessons are $55 per hour. A package of three-one hour private lessons is $150.
