Vela Resorts invites you to book a flight to Brazil and join up for a week of the 2010 Kitesurfari Brazil season, which will surely become a highlight of your kiting history! Kitesurfari Weeks can be scheduled anytime with a minimum of 4 guests to join in on the adventure, and we will gladly help to connect you with other adventurers to share in on the experience. 1st day: Arrival at Fortaleza International Airport, transfer to Cumbuco Beach, check-in at the hotel, free time and overnight.

2nd day: Breakfast. The first day of our Kitesurfari starts with a delicious breakfast in Cumbuco, followed by the buggy trip to Paracuru. We will leave the hotel at 9am driving along the cost passing by Cauípe Lagoon (super flat water), Pecém and Taíba (for the wave lovers, this is THE spot!). Free time for lunch. Overnight at hotel in Paracuru.

3rd day: Breakfast. Ready for a full day of downwind? At 9am we depart from Paracuru which is a very wide beach with flatwater spots and also big waves, perfect for waveriders! On the way to Guajirú, we will pass by Carnaubinha (also called “Havaizinho”), where Curu river meets the sea, Lagoinhas, Mundaú and Mundaú river. Free time for lunch. Overnight at hotel in Guajirú.

4th day: Breakfast. After a good rest in Guajirú, our batteries are fully charged for another day of pure adventure! Today, our goal is to reach one of the best spots in the Ceará cost: ICARAIZINHO! Our trip starts in beach buggies until Baleia’a beach, where the downwind starts. Once you are on the water... See you in Icaraizinho! Free time for lunch. An evening session is the best choice for you to enjoy kitesurfing under the perfect sunset on the bay. Cheers! Overnight at hotel in Icaraizinho.

5th day: Breakfast. Rivers, forests, mangroves, barge, turtles, and an indian community... this day will make you feel like a Portuguese explorer 500 years ago! At 9am we say good bye to Icaraizinho and start an 100% off-road trip through Moitas, Patos, Morro dos Patos, rivers Aracatiaçu and Aracati-mirim, Torrões, Almofala, finishing the tour with a great downwind from Barrinhas to Jericoacoara. Free time for lunch. Overnight at hotel in Jericoacoara.

6th day: Try to picture the perfect water, the perfect wind and 40km of the most incredible conditions. Then you are starting to figure out what a downwind from Jericoacoara to Tatajuba would be like. No more words, come and check by yourself! Overnight at hotel in Jericoacoara.

Following days: Upon arrival to Jericoacoara, you have the option to extend your stay and to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the world class kiting in Jeri Kite Zone. Vela Kitesurf and Jeri Kite Zone offer kite school, rescue, downwind expeditions, storage and support.
