Please note that filling out this form does not constitute a confirmed reservation. We first need to check availability and discuss method of payment before we can confirm your reservation. However, if you take the time to fill out this form, it will help speed up that process.

Vela can arrange your entire vacation or just those components you need. Our vacation experts will help you choose the best destination for your skill level and assist you with accommodations, equipment and lessons. As soon as you choose your preferred travel dates, give us a call, send an email, or submit the ONLINE RESERVATIONS FORM to make your reservations. We recommend booking well in advance especially for holidays and high season travel.

PAYMENT
A deposit of $250 per person is required within 7 days of confirmation in order to hold your booking. Payment in full is required no later than 45 days prior to your departure. For bookings within 45 days of departure, full payment is due within 3 days. For last-minute bookings made 14 days or less prior to departure, full payment is due within 24 hours.

CANCELLATIONS
Full refund will be made, less a $50 per person handling fee, if your cancellation is received in writing at least 35 days prior to your departure date. Cancellations within 35 days will be subject to a fee of $250 per person. All changes are subject to a $25 processing fee. Additional penalties for Maui North Shore, Brazil, Punta San Carlos, flights to Margarita and Los Roque, plus travel during holidays may apply and will be disclosed with your invoice upon confirmation of a formal reservation.

INSURANCE
For only $30 per person you can protect your trip investment against cancellation fees and loss or damage to equipment. Full details on coverage will be sent with initial invoice or can be viewed here.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Joining the 21st century, Vela will no longer mail travel documents, which will now be sent by email. Vouchers and other documents can still be mailed or faxed upon request. NOTE: A valid passport will be required for international travel. Some destinations require that your passport be valid up to 6 months after your arrival, and in some cases a Tourist Visa may be required. Ask our agents for more details.

YOU ARE GUARANTEED TO RECEIVE THE LOWEST PRICE on your windsurf vacation by contacting Vela’s central reservation office. Services provided directly by Vela such as windsurf equipment and lessons are always offered at the best price when booked with our central reservations office. We also guarantee the lowest price on all accommodations we offer. By contract with our accommodation providers and partners, our pricing is as low or lower than other re-sellers. In the unlikely event that you should receive a price quote which is lower, just contact us and we will verify and match that lower price. Please be aware that accommodation pricing varies based on travel dates and on the amount of time between reservation date and actual travel date. The Vela pricing guarantee applies to comparative quotes valid when you reserve with Vela and must be for identical travel dates. In addition to our guaranteed low prices, we sometimes offer discounts via advertisement, mail, and e-mail. In order to keep you updated with these specials, please be sure that we have your current e-mail address.

Vela ALWAYS quotes pricing including all taxes and service fees. Make note when comparison shopping as many price quotes for accommodations do not include tax and service fees, some of which are as high as 26%.
