It’s the perfect place for your honeymoon! The ocean is at the door, the beach is a short walk away, and Paia, the coolest little town in Maui, is very near. Legal permitting allows you to rent with confidence. As many of you know, the County of Maui has been shutting down many vacation rentals operating illegally without a permit. Maui By The Sea, has always operated under a legal County of Maui permit and our current permit is valid through 2011.

PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS

Tropical ambiance with all the comforts of home, the air-conditioned apartment is upstairs (downstairs is the open garage), surrounded by a lovely Hawaiian tropical garden with bamboos, palm trees, gingers, heliconias and fruit trees. The inside is cozy and elegant. A separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed, full bath, and full kitchen complement the layout. Your cottage is 150 feet from the ocean. (Access to the water is possible but there is no beach in front of the property; it is a rocky shoreline). A sandy beach is 200 yards from the cottage with access for windsurfing (EXPERT ONLY!) surfing and snorkeling; or if you wish, just sunbathing on the golden sand. The ocean is your front yard. Walk out and watch surfers enjoying the beautiful blue waves! Maui by the Sea's property is located right on the ocean, fronting a popular local surf break.

Spacious 1BR Cottage with 500 square feet of living space upstairs plus large covered lanai and downstairs is the open garage for your car with plenty of storage space. 1 Queen Bed plus extra foam futon on the floor (for separate rooms for two or to make space for a third guest,) private bathroom, towels and beach towels, full kitchen, washer/dryer in unit, A/C and ceiling fans throughout, Cable TV with DVD/VCR, radio, phone-answering machine, free WiFi, hair dryer and alarm clock, BBQ, and more. Maximum occupancy 3.

Covered Parking, secure location for vehicle, gears and belongings including locking gate with private code. Beach access at walking distance.

Note that the property is located adjacent to the Hana Highway and road noise is audible from your unit. This is nothing to match the sound of planes present at most Sprecks properties, but worth knowing about in advance.

The sandy beach nearby is Tavares Bay, and is ONLY ADVISEABLE FOR EXPERT SAILORS!!! Did we mention to get insurance for your rentals???
