Wind Reports and Weather

Winds are normally lighter in the morning. Summer/Fall: All abilities. Novice sailing in the morning hours. Winter/Spring: Intermediate to expert recommended. Great beginning wave sailing year-round. Waves and chop can be challenging December through April. In the summer a protective reef on the windward side of the bay creates flat water sailing conditions close to shore. Sail small "easy" waves on the reef one half mile out. From mid-December through March the waves are larger with chop inside and occasional shore break. In April and May waves and chop are moderate. Year-round water temperature near 80 degrees ... lovely!

 Saludos from Cabarete,

as promised some more news from da Reef.
The wind kicked in again and everyone is enjoying nice sessions blasting with sails around 5 qm today.

As said in the post before the last days had been perfect for nice SUP sessions.
As well the beginners had fun in crystal shining water and sunshine. Perfect days for the whole family!

In addition some pictures of the last days. I will try my best next days to shoot some action pictures.

So stay tuned..
Hang loose!!

Marianne, her third time on the board - well done!
