Like all other Vela centers, rather than booking a fixed board, where you would have to guess, before knowing the spot and the conditions which is the best board for you, we reserve by category, which allows you to try several boards on your vacation, and use the model that suits your preference, and you will also be able to shift to more radical boards as your skills develop on the constant winds and easy waves of Jericoacoara bay. We always reserve less people than our inventory in each category, to guarantee that there will always be enough equipment for all pre-booked clients.
BOARD CATEGORIES
Boards are divided in three categories according to their volume, with a color code to make it easier for you to choose a board from the rack.
2008 JP AUSTRALIA AND STARBOARD BOARDS

SMALL/RED - All boards up to 90 liters volume. For intermediate/advanced
sailors, with experience in waterstarting on short boards.

2008 NEILPRYDE SAILS
We have selected from the Neilpryde range the models
and sizes that better perform in the sailing conditions
of Jericoacoara. All carefully rigged and tuned for
optimum performance, sizes from 3.3 to 7.2.
