Location:
Vela Margarita is located just off the northeast coast
of Venezuela on Isla Margarita. More specifically, we're
located in the small town of Playa El Yaque on the south
shore of the island, just 8 minutes from Porlamar airport.
In El Yaque, Vela has the premier location just below
the El Yaque Beach hotel with convenient access to the
water and the best beach front in town! No other windsurf
center in Margarita compares with Vela.
Trips to Los
Roques:
We offer special day trip to Los Roques National Marine
Park. This is a once in a lifetime experience! Fly over
in the morning, sail all day amongst beautiful pristine
islands, then return by plane to El Yaque in the evening.
For those that would really like to explore this pristine
part of the world, we do offer accommodations here as
well.
Optional excursions
to Coche Island:
Once a week we organize a day trip to Coche for fantastic flat water speed sailing.
Guests have full use of pre-rigged equipment at our
Coche center.
We now have a faster, more comfortable boat for the trips to Coche. You are now able to visit Coche any day of the week.
Additional fee for boat ride and lunch.
We now also have our Dare2Fly kite center open on Coche
island.
