 Come join Maui's Top instructor Alan Cadiz and the HST windsurfing school. Alan and his staff have been setting the standards in windsurfing instruction since 1985. Their high level of skill allows them the ease to sail right next to you on the water, giving you the confidence and the instruction you to excel at the sport of windsurfing. Lesson range from beginner to wave sailing. Video analysis available. Classes taught daily for all ability levels. Whether you're learning the basics, perfecting your jibe, or wanting to tempt the waves, expert instruction will make the most of your time on the water. After winning numerous international events, including Maui's own Aloha Classic, Alan began teaching windsurfing with the same discipline it takes to become one of the best windsurfers in the world. Alan and his staff continue to raise the standards to insure you have the best learning experience.
Lessons:
Level 1: Beginner - Learning the basics. Max
3 students per instructor. Kids welcome. , 2.5 hours
per day in a group. (Includes Equipment)
Level 2: Longboard Sailing - Longboard tacking,
jibing, beach starting, harness use, and sail proficiency.
2.5 hours per day in a group. (Includes Equipment)
Level 3: Water Starting - Learn the basics
on the beach...then your instructor will stay with
you in the water to speed your learning and build
your confidence. 1.5 hours per day private. (Requires
Additional Equipment Rental)
Level 4: Shortboard Sailing - Your instructor
will help you with rigging, staying upwind, harness
use, getting into footstraps. Instructor sail right
along with you giving you immediate feedback and confidence.

Level 5: Jibing - Step jibe, pivot jibe, sail first jibe, lay downs,
ducks, and jump jibes. Your instructor sails with
you! 1.5 hours per day private. (Requires Additional
Equipment Rental)
Level 6: Wave Sailing - Learn to wave sail with your instructor guiding
you into and out of the surf. There is no substitute
to having someone sailing right next to you. Your
instructor will give you the confidence and courage
to ride the wild Maui surf. 1.5 hours per day private.
