Kitesurfing - Want to learn kiteboarding? Maui is the center of the kitesurf world. Check out our Dare2Fly Maui center . We offer lessons for all abilities. You can reserve lessons through our reservations office.
Surfing - During the summer months expect to surf the southern shores of Maui. The name spot would have to be Maalaea, home of the fastest right hand break in the state. In the winter months the focus switches to the northern shores. On Maui there's Hookipa and probably the most beautiful right-hand wave in the world, Honolua Bay. Ask the Vela Maui staff about rentals and lessons.
Snorkel - Maui is the best place to enjoy SCUBA diving. Enjoy diving and snorkeling off the beach including boat dives. Enjoy the beautiful reefs and marine life by diving or snorkeling around the island of Maui!
Golf - There are many courses on Maui. Greens fees start at around $35.
Hike - Hiking can be a incredible experience on Maui. There is such a range of conditions and terrain. A person can choose to hike the coastline, Haleakala Crater, or any number of exotic areas within the island.
Bike - Ride down Haleakala Volcano from the 10023 foot summit descending to historic Paia at sea level. Enjoy fresh outdoor air, views to make your heart pound, and hairpin turns to make your heart race.
